XR650L Oil Filter Cover, Finned

Finned oil filter cover for the XR650L and XL/XR600R. Optimized using thermal simulation software for unmatched performance. The external surface area of the filter cover has been increased drastically. This increase in surface area paired with optimized fin profile and a black anodized surface finish contributes to an approximate 250% increase in heat loss when compared to the OEM oil filter cover. This results in lower oil temperatures as the hot engine oil transfers its heat from the inside face of the cover to the air stream on the external finned side. Material is black anodized high strength aluminum with a laser etched logo. Includes a brand new o-ring that comes pre-installed onto the cover.
